Summary:

[From Google's English] "The idea behind the open access movement is to make freely available on the Internet published results of scientific research (articles, conference proceedings, books, etc..), Allowing users to read and use the information, to download and distribute publications, indicating course always the source.  The ETS has already implemented actions to support open access by signing in 2012 the Berlin Declaration on Open Access to Knowledge and implementing a showcase for the dissemination of research done at ETS: Space ETS ( http://espace.etsmtl.ca ) where we find the full text of theses and dissertations, and ETS 2 Area (http://espace2.etsmtl.ca ) publications for teachers and researchers.  For more information on open access and network initiatives at the University of Quebec in this regard, see the article published this week on the blog Tribune CI: The University of Quebec and free access ."
