"Hepato-Gastroenterology is now a hybrid open access journal, whereby authors have the choice of publishing their work as open access to all readers through payment of open access fee. Open access papers will be published online (with a DOI number) after a maximum of 1 month following acceptance and payment. The final reference will be given upon printed publication. Authors not wishing to pay this fee will still have their work published online within a short time period, but accessible only to members of IASGO or as pay-per-view. Open access fees are 1200 euros (or 750 euros for IASGO members). Pay-per-view fees (per article): 30 euros."
