Summary:

"Kenya Libraries and Information Services Consortium (KLISC) in collaboration with Kenya Association for Health Information and Libraries of Africa, Kenyan Chapter (KEN-AHILA) will host an open access workshop to sensitize Kenyan health workers and advocate for open access on  December 13, 2013 at Silver Springs Hotel, Nairobi. The workshop aims to improve health research dissemination and maximize visibility and impact of health research output. The workshop is a part of the project 'Open access: Knowledge sharing and sustainable scholarly communication in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda' funded by Spider, the Swedish Program for ICT in Developing Regions DSV, Department of Computer and System Sciences, Stockholm University.
