[From Google's English] "The talk will present the latest developments and initiatives of the Public Knowledge Project, developers of Open Journal Systems (OJS) and Open Monograph Press (OMP). The latest versions of Open Journal Systems, Open Monograph Press, and the new service alternative metrics (Article Level Metrics, ALM) that begins to offer PKP journals using OJS will be presented. It is also an opportunity to hear about the research in the area of scientific communication in Latin America carried out by PKP in the last two years. Webinar taught by Juan Pablo Alperin, a graduate of the University of Waterloo, Canada. He is a researcher in the field of scientific publications and open access by the Public Knowledge Project (PKP) and developer free 'software' for scientific journals. He is currently a doctoral candidate at Stanford University, where he researches the use of research in Latin America."
