[From Google's English] "December 16, 2013 was inaugurated in beta service ROAD (URL: < http://road.issn.org>) developed over the past few months dall'ISSN Network in collaboration with UNESCO.  It is a database of scientific journals and other scholarly resources open access to international coverage. It 'can also apply filters to search by country of publication and thematic area.  There are already other tools for reviewing and indexing open access journals: however, this presents as a value added feature of only contain resources identified by ISSN(read more read here ). They will be monitored periodically to ensure that the public access feature of individual resources remains unchanged.  ROAD, the Directory of Open Access scholarly Resources, is a service offered by the ISSN International Centre with the support of the Communication and Information Sector of UNESCO. Launched as a beta version on December 16th, 2013, will be developped ROAD During 2014 (extension of the coverage, additional features ...).  ROAD Provides a free access to a subset of the ISSN Register (1.7 millions of bibliographic records, available on subscription, more info ). This subset Which Comprises bibliographic records describe Open Access scholarly resources in Which not have been assigned an ISSN by the ISSN Network: journals, monographic series, conference proceedings and academic repositories. Also ROAD records are downloadable as a MARC XML dump and will be available as RDF triples in 2014 ..."
