The recent analysis Identified OA journals in the field of medicine indexed in the Web of Science (WoS) database on the basis of the Directory of Open Access Journals. The results show in amount of 9.7 per cent of OA journals in relation to the total amount of all journals in the WoS subject categories selected. 14 per cent Could be Assigned to the upper quartile Q1 (top 25 per cent). For most of the OA journals Great Britain which deterministic mined as the publishing country. The analysis of articles with German participation Reveals interesting methods to obtain infor-mation in the participating authors, institutions, networks and Their specific subjects.
