RCN Publishing launches new service for researchers

"The RCN Publishing Company, leading publisher of journals for nurses and other healthcare professionals, has launched a gold open access policy to enable authors to make their work easily and quickly available to the public. The decision supports the Research Councils UK (RCUK) policy and guidance on the social and economic advantages of giving unrestricted access to publicly funded research. Authors will be able to choose to pay to publish their articles using a Creative Commons licence (CC-BY) that will allow anyone to copy, transmit or adapt their work, providing it is cited appropriately ..."
