Summary:
[From Google's English] "OpenAIRE ( Open Access Infrastructure for Research in Europe ) is a project funded by the 7th Framework Programme (FP7) and the European Research Council (ERC) that promotes open access to scholarly research in Europe . The electronic infrastructure provides adequate support mechanisms for the identification, storage, access and control of research articles . In this context, the European Commission (EC) has launched the initiative OpenAIRE Plus it extends the initial project.
OpenAIRE to manipulate items and other scientific publications ( preprints , conference proceedings, etc.). scale user. It also provides a network of institutional repositories open to various fields of knowledge . It also includes a search engine with which you can search documents by language, design, scientific area, program and year of publication. On the other hand, offers value-added features such as monitoring tools through analysis of document and usage statistics, among others.
Moreover, the OpenAIRE Plus continues the project OpenAIRE to incorporate collections of research data ( DataSet ) together with the resulting scientific papers. This initiative (still in beta) is a multidisciplinary approach because of the heterogeneity of the data (type of intellectual property, policies, access levels, etc..) And integrates diverse communities. The Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) supports the implementation of the project in Spain.
For more information on both projects, consult the websites of the OpenAIRE and beta of OpenAIRE Plus . Also you can give a look at the various posts on open access to published blog OR-IEC ..."
