ETD 2013, Hong Kong - About the Conference

“The University of Hong Kong Libraries has the pleasure of announcing the 16th International Symposium on Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETD 2013), that will be held for the first time in Hong Kong. This Conference will be held from September, 23rd to 26th, 2013.  The theme of ETD 2013 is: Asian Values, Western Thought, World Treasure! Our goal is to explore and share opportunities between representatives from Asian region and other countries around the world, in order to exchange experiences and knowledge on projects related to the topics considered on ETD 2013 program.  The program will include technical papers, plenary sessions, workshops and posters presentations about the following topics: [1] Digital preservation [2] Copyright / Intellectual property [3] Institutional Repositories [4] ETD policies and programs [5] Information Technology in ETD and institutional repositories [6] Digital libraries and IT [7] National and international collaboration [8] ETD Multimedia [9] Interoperability and Union Catalog [10] Internet and Information access [11] Data Curation”
