Promoting open door research, teaching and learning for human development - Open Access Week

Summary:

In its endeavor to promote a research community marking the 2012 Open Access celebrations,Bindura University of Science Education (BUSE) libraries will be advocating for more I.R. articles and honoring those who have contributed to our ‘e-resource of the month platform’.The week will also be comprised of presentations which include:  1.Demystifying fears and myths surrounding open access writting  2.Open access publishing  3.Benefits of open access intiatives  4.Our institutional repository  In addition, the BUSE library will also prepare promotional and advocacy material in form of pamphlets, posters, a banner and  brochures outlining open access links to various subjects. BUSE library Face Book page will serve as the communication platform pertaining to open access questions and answers during the OA week.”
