The long-awaited "Open Access" repository launched - Ifakara Health Institute - IHI

“IHI has become the first Tanzanian organization to launch a digital library that has been registered with the directory of Open Access repositories. The  resource named ‘e-Health’ will allow people to access published and unpublished materials at a zero cost. Director General for COSTECH, Dr. Hassan Mshinda says: ‘This is a very welcome development particularly for scientists.’ IHI's endeavors to develop a digital library started in 2008 using a free software called ‘Greenstone.’”
