Summary:
"The Addis Ababa University Libraries in collaboration with the School of Information Science is organizing various events during the Open Access Week in October, 2012 under the topic 'Set the Default to Open Access: Open Access to Scholarly Information as a Means to Strengthening Education, Research and Development'. Although the events will be conducted at the Addis Ababa University, other universities in the country will have the chance to participate via video conference. Presentations, showcases, and discussion of policy issues for open access are planned. This event is supported by the International Network for the Availability of Scientific Publications (INASP)."
