[2] Increase in citations with open access publications - Anna Roller, Wroclaw University of Technology Library - Webinar. [3] Transformation of traditional journals to electronic open journals - Bozena Bednarek-Michalska, UMK Torun - Webinar. [4] Open Access Week in in Lodz: a panel discussion 'Should science be Open Access? The Choice Is Yours!' and a seminar 'Go Open Access!' on open access and open science - coordinator: Dr. Iwona Sójkowska, organizers: EBIB, University of Lodz Library, The Pedagogical Academy Library and Lodz University of Technology Library, more information in Polish is here. [5] Panel discussion on open science in Toruń -  Thomas Ganicz, Centre of Molecular and Macromolecular Studies, Lodz, and Bozena Bednarek-Michalska, University Library in Toruń.  [6] 'Open science in our hands - from design to implementation of open access institutional repository' workshop hosted by Poznan University Library, coordinators: Emilia Karwasińska, Małgorzata  Rychlik.  [7] November issue of Academic Forum will focus on open access. [8] November issue of the Bulletin EBIB will be on e-science.
