Summary:

"This video demonstrates a new plugin linking the Public Knowledge Project's Open Journal System to Harvard's Institute for Quantitative Social Science Dataverse Network platform. This work was funded by the Sloan Foundation, and helps to strengthen and streamline links between scholarly articles and their underlying research data. It allows authors to deposit data into a linked Dataverse during the process of submitting an article in OJS, and after publication, provides a permanent, two-way link between both platforms. The plugin will ship with OJS 2.4.4 when it is released, and can be installed in any version of OJS going back to 2.3.0. Download and installation instructions can be found at http://github.com/jwhitney/dataverse. For more information about the plugin, refer to http://projects.iq.harvard.edu/ojs-dvn. An earlier-stage testing walkthrough is available at https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Q... for users wanting further guidance. Please contact Alex Garnett at PKP (garnett@sfu.ca) if you have any questions, or wish to join our pool of early-stage users. We hope your enjoy using it!"
