abernard102@gmail.com 2014-04-23

Summary:

The aim of this workshop is to develop a set of policy recommendations that provide support for institutions involved in making open access to research data possible. During the workshop we will present and discuss the findings of our research on the institutional policies and practices regarding data quality management, training, advocacy and financing. The research is part of the Policy Recommendations for Open Access to Research Data in Europe (RECODE) project (funded by the European Union), which addresses the drivers and barriers in developing Open Access to research data in Europe to draft recommendations for policy (see http://recodeproject.eu/research/).  The workshop takes place ahead of the LIBER 43rd Annual Conference RESEARCH LIBRARIES IN THE 2020 INFORMATION LANDSCAPE (http://www.lnb.lv/en/liber2014).
