PLOHSS: A PLOS-style Project for the Humanities and Social Sciences

This site aims to give the background to and rationale for such a project along with an initial call for participants so that we can put a team together in Spring 2013. As a preliminary statement: the project will likely not be called 'PLOHSS' and we are not affiliated in any way with PLOS. Instead, we are using the term for this initial ideas-only phase as a description that encapsulates the sort of approach we want: a low cost, sustainable, Open Access future for the humanities and social sciences."
