The signatories undertake to Open Access ( OA ) to support and introduce in their institutions. 'Public funds funded research should - not least in the interests of science itself - be as good as possible publicly and freely available. SNF' Eight years have passed since the signing of the Berlin Declaration by the Swiss Rectors' Conference. What is the state? ... The SNF takes in Switzerland in terms of open access a guiding and a role model. An English Overview on Open Access with weekly updates is maintained in the framework of the EU project OpenAIRE. An Open Access Overview page for Switzerland is available. An overview of Open Access policies (policies) to other institutions isROARMAP available ... The SNF is the control organization for Open Access in Switzerland. His policies have weight in Switzerland. Unfortunately, Open Access exists mainly in Switzerland in guidelines and in practice is still not self-evident. The policies are unfortunately not respected and enforced.
