"Our client a leading STM publisher requires a Journal Manager (Open Access). You will be responsible for a rapidly growing portfolio of open access journals, covering all disciplines within the science, technology, and medicine (STM) fields.
The Journal Manager will ensure that processes are implemented effectively, and will execute improvements as needed. A proactive and problem-solving approach is required, along with good technical understanding of our systems, to create new processes and to consider how our systems and services develop so that current and future needs are met.
The Journal Manager will need to build excellent working relationships with Editors-in-Chief, Society contacts and other external stakeholders, as well as coordinating internal collaboration between teams to ensure the smooth running of the journal portfolio. Some international travel may be required...."
