[new OA tool]

Summary:
"I got annoyed tracking down Open Access papers when putting together an Open Science reading list, and looking for example papers for our #FORRT Replication Annotator. So, I built a little Chrome extension that adds OA status labels (Gold, Green, Bronze, Hybrid) directly to Google Scholar results, with links to free versions when available. As a nice side-effect, it also adds DOIs to the results (which are mostly accurate).
The plugin relies on the great data provided by Unpaywall and OpenAlex, and Claude Code did most of the heavy lifting here. I hope it's a small example of how AI coding assistants can help us make our scientific work easier, not sloppier.
The tool is open source (MIT) and free to use. Comments and contributions welcome :) "
