"The purpose of this newly created role is to ensure that OUP has appropriate policies, systems and processes to support our open access business models and to represent OUP’s interests as an open access publisher to other publishing organizations, and to decision and policy makers in governments, research funders, and other stakeholders. You will ensure that appropriate market intelligence and analysis regarding open access and research data is disseminated in an effective, concise manner and ensure that the infrastructure and analytical support is in place to support OUP’s open access business models in journals and books. In addition, you will own OUP’s research data policies ensuring that these meet the needs of the communities we serve and that OUP attains a thought-leadership position in respect of research data and is abreast of developments in ‘open data’. ..."
