"In coordination with library colleagues, develops and manages initiatives, educational programming and appropriate services for USFSP faculty, researchers, students, and staff on scholarly communication topics, including but not limited to open access, copyright, intellectual property rights, and open educational resources.

Serves as the Libraries' main contact for scholarly communication questions and initiatives. Consults with and advises USFSP faculty on publishing agreements and retention of the right to deposit materials in the campus repository Provides periodic assessments of the campus environment with regard to scholarly communication issues and implements improvements. Coordinates the scholarly communication responsibilities of librarians in the NPML Librarian Liaison Program. Stays current with developments in copyright, open access, scholarly publishing, open educational resource initiatives, etc...."
