Summary:

"Is “Open Science” just the latest fad or is it really an important tool to advance discovery? If you are unsure, OR if you sincerely believe open science can advance discovery but need help implementing policies to facilitate open science, the EVO program is for you....

HRA’s Open Science Community is sponsoring a one-year Exploring the Value of Open (EVO) Program with monthly webinar sessions, discussion groups, and opportunities to explore whether open science policies, compliance tools, and metrics are appropriate for your organization, and can help achieve your mission.

The EVO program will cover not only the why, but also the how, and ways to measure impact of open research policies, practices, and incentives. The Program will be led by Kristen Ratan (Stratos), and the Open Science Community cochair, Salvatore La Rosa (CTF). It will include invited speakers, demonstrations, lively discussions, trials of technologies and services, and development of resources, if needed. We will work with cohorts with similar ambitions and challenges to help organizations reach their own open goals...."
