CARL Scholarly Communications Roadmap - January 2017

lkfitz's bookmarks 2017-01-27

Summary:

"For over a decade now, CARL and its members have been promoting open access to research publications, in order to greatly improve the availability and impact of Canadian research. However, many in the research community still do not have an extensive understanding of open access, how it is implemented, and the benefits that can arise from the broad direction of open science2. The purpose of this activity is to raise awareness of open access and open science with a variety of stakeholder communities in the Canadian research community."
