Local Researchers Wanted for Project on Open Knowledge & Tech in May

"Reboot is seeking two (2) researchers to help us gather field research for a project aiming to understand current and potential contributors of an online open-source knowledge platform. This is a part-time, short-term engagement (approximately 5 weeks, starting in May 2017) in and around Seoul. Researchers will complete an in-depth 1 or 2-day training to learn Reboot's approach and methodologies. Over the course of one, two-week research sprint (May 17 to May 31 - dates subject to change), the Local Researchers will collaborate closely with our team to conduct research through in-person interviews and analysis related to information-seeking, technology use, and online contribution behaviors and preferences."

"Researchers will be responsible for research execution and documentation for one project. Specific responsibilities include:

Research Execution and Documentation

Conduct field research in and around Seoul over the course of 2 weeks (May 17 to May 31, 2017 - dates subject to change);

Digitally document field interviews and observations;

Manage parts of research documentation and support documentation of final outputs;

Provide in-field logistic support.

Research Synthesis

Participate in research synthesis sessions and support the research team in analyzing data to translate research findings into final products. "
