"On 23 October the conference OpenCon 2017 Lithuania “Towards Open Research Data and Open Science” was held in cooperation with OpenAIRE2020 at Kaunas University of Technology. The aim of the event was to revise the national developments in terms of policy and practice seeking a synergy effect of OS-oriented initiatives carried out by different stakeholders. The topics covered the national OA policy/ strategy, involvement in the European Open Science Cloud, national landscape of repositories, RDM training in academic settings and other current OS-related initiatives and practices in the country."
