"Most of these journals are not even peer-reviewed and do not have any significant influence on the progress of science and society. Jeffrey Beall a librarian and Associate Professor at the University of Colorado, Denver, maintained a list of predatory journals and corresponding publishers and he coined a new term ‘predatory open access publishing.’"
