Summary:

"Since November 2016, the Deutsche Bildungsseries, together with many partners from research and practice, has been setting up the OER Information Center. It is intended to form a central interface for the knowledge of free educational materials (OER) and, among other things, to promote exchange on the subject with various multimedial offers. In this way, she starts the new interactive video format "# OERinfo-WebTalks" in her blog today. In a video stream, experts will hold a short impulse presentation on topics related to OER, and all interested viewers will be able to ask questions, make their own experiences, or discuss the topic. The WebTalks are created for 30 to 40 minutes and are then available for recording.

Let's go today at 1 pm: Annett Zobel and Paul Klimpel, the coordinators of the joint project 'Jointly', present the project. Jointly offers co-operation and support services for OER projects and engineers with the main focus on IT, law, didactics and production. There is also a second appointment. On February 23, Josie Fraser will give a preview of the OER conference '# OER17', which will take place in London in April. The theme of the conference this year is 'The Politics of Open'.

The online presentations are accessible without prior registration and without additional software; the browser must have only a current Flash plug-in. Mobile apps include apps for Android, iOS, and Blackberry. The link to the current talk will be published on the blog five minutes before the start.
