 They are currently looking for a Knowledge and Evidence Officer to provide leadership in initiatives that provide open access to, and interpretation of, information about the natural environment.   Promoting open access to information, you will evaluate data, prepare reports and liaise with external contacts to validate the data; for example in relation to Natural History National Schemes and Societies.  You will also work to maintain data systems and catalogues such as reserve inspections, tree safety surveys, land registrations, legal agreements and management plans.   This role will equip staff with the policies, guidance and tools required to manage information more effectively and efficiently, and will lead the development of indicators that inform management decisions.  It will give accurate and timely results for requests for data and will review current methods for collating, storing and reporting on data."
