2nd Africa Open Data Conference (AODC) opens in Accra – The Republic

"The 2nd Africa Open Data Conference has officially been opened in Ghana’s capital Accra. The four-day conference which is taking place at the Accra International Conference Centre is expected to be attended by over 600 organisations and individuals working in the open data space in Africa and beyond.

As part of activities for the week, Penplusbytes’ New Media Hub will be hosting conference delegates on a site visit. Site visits are an opportunity for conference participants to explore some of the civic and tech hubs in Accra through some of the conference themes.

Sites to be visited include the New Media Hub, Mobile Web Ghana, Meltwater Entrepreneurial School of Technology (MEST), iSpace, Impact Hub Accra and the Kofi Annan ICT Centre."
