Summary:

From Google's English:

"The publication and storage platform for gender research results "GenderOpen", funded by the German Research Foundation, will be released on Monday, December 4, 2017 in the foyer of the main building of the Technical University of Berlin for experts and the public. In a festive setting, Berlin's Senator for Health, Nursing and Equal Opportunity Dilek Kolat symbolically presses the start button.

With the electronic infrastructure, the results of gender research should be sustainably secured and made more accessible. At the same time, it should provide a platform for free publishing in a cross-disciplinary scientific field.

"GenderOpen" is a joint project of Freie Universität Berlin, Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and Technische Universität Berlin. The project will be funded with around 500,000 euros over two years."
