'Like every year, Heather Morrison offers, on her blog, a report of Open Access for the past year.  On the Golden path , the DOAJ lists 10,727 journal titles - adding 1,272 titles in 2017 - with more than 2.7 million open access articles from 7,809 journals available at the article level. The Electronic Journals Library service reports over 90,000 journals, of which 59,240 can be read for free. PubMed Central has reached 4.6 million articles and has 2,446 "active" journals, 1,832 of which have their articles immediately accessible and 1,478 of which have all their articles freely accessible.  For the greenway 3,464 open archives are listed in OpenDOAR and 4,597 in ROAR. BASE has surpassed 120 million documents from 6,038 open archives. arXiv has 1,342,725 items.  The Directory of Open Access Books has almost doubled in size with 10,315 books - compared to 5,602 at the end of 2016 - of 247 publishers.  ROARMAP counts 889 policies of institutions and funding agencies.'
