Bibliométrie et science ouverte : de nouveaux horizons (Bibliometrics and open science: new horizons)

Summary:

From Google's English:

"A revolution is underway in scientific research, that of open science. Its ambition is to make the results of scientific research (publications, but also data) widely accessible. It profoundly modifies the practices of researchers, in particular the modes of publication and distribution. Indeed, these are strongly associated with the monopoly of a few international publishers, Clarivate Analytics and Elsevier, which control the rankings of journals and the data useful for the statistical analysis of scientific production, i.e. bibliometrics . For all that, does open science herald the end of bibliometrics? Nothing is less sure."
