Summary:

Google English: "Are all Creative Commons licenses Open Access?

Creative Commons licenses are excellent tools for the world of science, education, among others. And they complement wonderfully the Open Access movement, which wants users to be able to access the work of other authors online without having to pay for it, and still guaranteeing some rights.

In the past CONFOA event (2017) we present a paper, Elisani Almeida Bastos and myself, on a subject that, although much has already been spoken and written, still appear diverse opinions in the events and articles on the matter. The question is:

Are all Creative Commons licenses Open Access (OA)?

That is, when a scientific journal claims to have a CC by-nd-nc license, should that journal or work be considered part of the Open Access movement?

In the video we briefly present our findings, based on the 3 main Open Access statements: Budapest, Bethesda and Berlin.

Open Access and Creative Commons Licenses: all licenses are OA (Open Access)? from Project RCAAP on Vimeo .

And you, do you think any of the licenses should be considered as OA? Because?"
