"As a publicly funded EU agency, ECDC works to ensure it is open and transparent about its operations and funding, therefore ECDC has an obligation to ensure that published work generated by the Centre is disseminated and is easily accessible to all EU citizens. All outputs with scientific content produced by, or on behalf of, the Centre should be published as open access.  The Centre also follows principles of transparency and equitability of access to its work and tries to ensure that its outputs are available to all in a timely fashion.
