"Blender is an free and open source 3D creation suite which appeals to a demographic ranging from professionals to amateur video editors. Now they want to assist developers with understanding their system's ability to run Blender. A Blender Benchmark has been developed and released as a beta. The benchmark is open data meaning that anyone can view the results, but the data collected is very basic system specifications and of course the benchmark results. A Blender ID can be created that gives users the ability to manipulate what is shown. Just like Blender, the benchmark runs on Linux, Windows, and macOS.
