CSP and UofT Libraries' TSpace join forces to simplify OA compliance for authors

"Today marks the launch of a new service available to authors who are publishing their work in CSP's NRC Research Press journals. This service provides interested authors with automatic free deposit of accepted manuscripts into TSpace, a free and secure research repository established by the University of Toronto Libraries (UTL). On February 27, the Canadian funding agencies (CIHR, NSERC, SSHRC) announced a new Tri-Agency Open Access Policy on Publications that requires federally funded peer-reviewed journal publications be made freely available. The policy states that grant recipients can comply by depositing their accepted manuscript in an online open access repository or by publishing their work in an open access journal.
