"'Science is not a goal in itself. Just as art is only art once it is seen, knowledge only Becomes knowledge once it is shared.' As witnessed by the words uttered by Sander Dekker, the Dutch Secretary of Education, the Dutch government is very keen to open access. After checking a great big deal for the purchase of subscriptions to magazines Springer, negotiation with Elsevier has instead stranded. But, if Elsevier not soften its position, the Consortium of Dutch universities already have in mind an unprecedented boycott: 1) to propose to all the teachers who are Dutch editor in chief of a magazine Elsevier to resign; 2) suggest researchers of Dutch universities to withdraw the collaboration as a reviewer of Elsevier journals; 3) ask the researchers of Dutch universities to stop publishing in Elsevier journals ..."
