"Did you know that Open Access publishing makes your research available for free to readers around the world? Research has shown that publishing in Open Access can increase your citations. RCUK and Wellcome have Open Access policies, which require you to make your scholarly papers available through Open Access. Other funders may have their own Open Access policies. HEFCE has recently announced that the next REF exercise will require users to make their work available through Open Access. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their experiences of using Open Access resources and ask any questions they might have about making research available via Open Access."
