"Once again, AAA’s dynamic publishing program is at a critical juncture, an exciting time for the 21 journals and AnthroSource, the association’s digital searchable database of past, present and future AAA publications. In this article, I share with you what is on the AAA publishing horizon and invite your ideas and suggestions as the association looks to secure a new publishing partner contract. AAA currently publishes its journals and AnthroSource through a partnership with Wiley-Blackwell (W-B), a relationship that began in 2007. The partnership has enabled the association to support the full portfolio of publications, and to grow the reach and visibility of AAA journals. W-B’s recent investment in a massive upgrade to AnthroSource offers many new features, including full text searching, easy access to full-text content and a fresh look and feel. The current term of AAA’s contract with W-B expires at the end of 2017. Rather than simply renew our W-B partnership, it is in AAA’s best interest to invite them to bid for our business, along with a number of other qualified publishers ..."
