"Over 110 staff, students and visitors booked to attend the ‘Open access: understanding the new environment’ conference on Wednesday 23 October 2013 here at the University. The event, co-organised by Information Services and Research Services, featured speakers from Hefce, the Open Library of Humanities, the Digital Curation Centre, the Research Information Network, the University of Kent, and the BBSRC (member of the RCUK Research Outputs Network) all presenting on a variety of aspects relating to Open Access. Presentation slides and recordings from the speakers will be available online shortly.
