"The AIMS team is pleased to announce the webinar 'Confederation of Open Access Repositories (COAR): Enhancing research visibility through Open Access repositories' The webinar will present COAR and its activities in support of the development of a global network of repositories. COAR is an association of repository initiatives with a membership of over 100 institutions worldwide from 35 countries in 4 continents. The webinar addresses libraries interested in open access, librarians, (agricultural) researchers, information management specialists, software developers, (agricultural) journal editors, related data providers and other interested people.  The objective of this webinar is to provide an overview of COAR and its activities in support of the development of a global network of repositories. The vision of COAR is to build a seamless knowledge infrastructure through a global Open Access repository network. COAR pursues its vision through an active community of members engaged in working and interest groups, advocacy activities, and training opportunities.
