OvidSP Adds OpenAccess « New@Norris Library

“Using OvidSP to search the medical and scientific literature?  OvidSP now includes links to free full-text in open access journals as well as in the journals subscribed to by Norris Library.  Open access results appear in a shaded column and include PubMed Central citations as well as those from more than 200-peer reviewed and highly cited clinical and research journals published by Medknow Publications, one of the world’s largest Open Access publishers and affiliated with more than 160 professional medical societies and associations.  A variety of medical and scientific disciplines are represented, including nursing, general medicine, pharmacology, and alternative medicine, as well as evidence-based medicine and research.”
