"A response has the potential uses of the PSB to do produced content. The PSB is one of the largest funded by the general producer of copyrighted content in Germany. From solidarity paid household charge content is produced, which then not be available to the Company. The classic copyright law prevents the contemporary use of content. Thus, but the contents are freely accessible in the future - and that more than seven days in the media libraries - PSB have to think about to make its content under a free license. Some "lighthouse projects" there are for it already. Individual radio broadcasts can (then without music) as podcast under a Creative Commons license to be downloaded. The ongoing mission to ZDFinfo 'Electric Reporter is completely released under a Creative Commons (CC BY-NC-SA) license. In the Bavarian broadcasting uses the program' Space Night since February 2013 'predominantly Creative Commons licensed and other royalty-free music, and the NDR are contributions of the media magazine' Zapp 'and the TV show' Extra 3 'under the Creative Commons CC-BY- NC-ND licensed (see also 'Creative Commons: Copy desired '). Fortunately, there are more such examples in the public television and radio. The ARD has even already established a working group based at WDR, which deals with the issue of freedom of licensing and Creative Commons. Results are pending, but if even the PSB has already recognized the issue as important, even politics and society are now asked to advance it ..."
