How to study something that has disappeared: Tracing research data repository shutdown

"This presentation was held on May 6, 2024 as part of the webinar series "Meta-research methods" organized by the Berlin Institute of Health [1]. With special focus on the method chosen, it describes a paper on the shutdown of research data repositories. First, previous studies on the subject and their limitations of these are discussed, before considerations for choosing an appropriate method and data sources are outlined. The presentation concludes with a short summary of key findings of the paper."
