Summary:

"The National Institutes of Health (NIH) is soliciting comments from the public on its Draft Public Access Policy & Guidance regarding reuse of articles and publication costs. Members of the public and scientific community have until August 19th, 2024 to weigh in on the draft policy. In the past, NIH has received less than 150 comments on their draft policies, which affect the entire public and scientific community. Join SPARC and the Center for Open Science (COS) for a webinar that will give a brief overview of the draft policy, their recommendations for improvement, and instructions on how to have your voice heard in shaping the future of research policy.
