COAR Annual Conference 2025 – COAR

"The COAR Annual Conference 2025 will take place in Tokyo, Japan on May 12-14, 2025. The conference is being jointly organized by COAR, JPCOAR and the National Institute of Informatics and will bring together international and Japanese participants to share experiences, identify priority activities across our communities, and contribute to the development of a shared vision for the future of repositories. 

Three major themes will guide the discussions:

1. Examining the role of repositories and repository networks in supporting compliance with open access policies around the world
2. Developing effective strategies to ensure the visibility and discoverability of research outputs in repositories
