"Recent weeks and months have brought shifts to the pursuit of research across the United States, including funding freezes and budget cuts, executive orders regarding DEIA (and its variants) and other justice-related topics (e.g., environmental justice), restrictions and preferential treatment based on specific terminology/language within research projects and proposals, and more.
