While some policies claim to promote transparency, their selective application risks undermining scientific integrity. True openness must apply across all research domains—not just where it aligns with political agendas.

COS remains steadfast in its commitment to protecting and promoting open scholarship. Ensuring long-term access to research data is essential to maintaining scientific integrity. Our Open Science Framework (OSF) remains a reliable resource for researchers seeking to preserve and share their work, ensuring that public knowledge remains accessible despite policy uncertainties.
