From Google's English:  "The DINI certificate is the central standard for open access publishing services in German-speaking countries. It defines criteria that should be met when establishing and operating publication services to ensure the quality, interoperability, and sustainability of open access publishing services.

The certificate is regularly revised to reflect current technical and organizational requirements and ensure the quality of publication services. New developments as well as community feedback are of central importance.
