"Well-established STM journal publisher with both OA and hybrid journals is seeking a freelance editor to join the editorial team for a 4-year-old broad-based OA journal in regenerative medicine. We are looking for a forceful individual with a strong commitment to and knowledge of the OA publishing scene, with extensive experience acquiring articles for publication from meetings, the scientific literature, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Familiarity with high-level biomedical and medical text essential. The ideal applicant is assertive and persuasive, with strong written and oral communication skills, speed and flexibility, creative problem-solving, confident decision-making, and solid computer skills. Knowledge of the changing publishing landscape including launching and strengthening journals, journal impact factor, PubMed, PubMedCentral, open access, and altmetrics essential."
